Venetia Shepherd is a fully qualified breathworker offering 1:1 breathwork sessions both in person and online.


Venetia has extensively trained in Inspirational Breathing, a specialist technique often referred to as 'trauma release' which opens up the entire respiratory system and focuses on filling the body with life force and energy to encourage the 'release' of any stagnant emotions or discomfort.


What is trauma release?


During our lives the majority of us hold on to past and present memories and traumas both big and small to protect ourselves or those around us.

Over time, these emotional triggers build up internally often without us knowing, and manifest themselves as physical or emotional pains including anxiety, sleeping problems, depression, digestive problems and other general states of 'dis-ease.'

This type of breathwork can unlock these deeply withheld emotions from the body and let them go in order to make way for more space, more joy, more freedom and an all round feeling of balance.

After suffering from debilitating and agonising chronic lower back pain I discovered Inspirational Breathing and my journey began.

Working with my amazing coach, Nicola Price, I was able to understand the huge amount of feelings I was holding onto - that were not serving me well and causing me severe physical pain.

The path that I have since taken has without question been totally life changing. I am now present both physically and emotionally. Now, I can feel the big stuff, the small stuff, and all the bits in between. Through this work I now recognise that it’s ok to feel a broad spectrum of emotions good, and bad and realise they simply come and go and have no bearing on our past or future.

Now I have the ability to be truly open hearted, live in the moment, be in touch with the people around me, and able to speak my truth. 


Ultimately, breath work has given me the ability to TRUST and live life to the full and I am so delighted after so much training and understanding to be able to share this with the wider community.

The sessions are approximately 2 hours, where Venetia will look closely at your breath pattern and use a variation of tools such as movement, sound, affirmations and visualisation to encourage more breath into the body, stop the busy mind and bring you back into your physical and natural state of being.

Price:


1 to 1 session (approx 2 hours) is £180

This includes a 10 minute call before (if required) and a 20 minute follow up call.


All subject to a 48 hour cancellation policy.

Preparing For a Session

Wear comfortable clothing – particularly around your stomach and chest and ideally no make up.

Be sure not to have not too much of a full stomach.

Drink plenty or water or herbal tea before and after the session and avoid caffeine/alcohol prior and after.

Try not to arrange too much after the session - to let things settle.
